Humitech (UK) Ltd. is an environmental company specialising in “Humidity and “Bacterial” control for the refrigeration industry. Using a 100% natural and environmentally safe blend of minerals, Humitech is the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of the 
family of filters.
The unique biosmart natural filter technology when placed in the fridge allows the absorption of excess moisture (humidity) in the fridge. In addition it also allows the subsequent release of this moisture back into the fridge when it becomes too dry.
This in turn allows the filter to "regulate and control" the relative humidity inside the fridge for the perfect storage of fresh food. Despite many other claims over the years there is no other known natural mineral on earth that can do this remarkable job and we continually test and research other minerals but have never found a mineral with similar properties.
The mineral inside the filter is commonly known as Sorbite which in reality is made up of a combination of natural minerals and this combination was first discovered more than 20 years ago. However, the mineral used in the Humitech biosmart family of filters today is more refined and is specifically blended to not only deal with excess humidity but to enhance its ability to control bacteria.
